John F. Pellizzari, RN, J.D., of the Law Office John F. Pellizzari, comes to Stevens Law Office from Rhode Island with more than 20 years of trial experience in the areas of personal injury, domestic relations, landlord/tenant, and estate-planning.
Attorney Pellizzari, also maintains an office in Rhode Island that serves clients both in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He has begun his three month clerkship with Stevens Law Office with the aim of becoming a member of the Vermont Bar, and Of Counsel to Stevens Law Office.
Attorney Pellizzari, began his legal career in 1988 as a member of the United States Naval Reserve Judge Advocate General's Corps wherein he served as a Defense Counsel, Trial Counsel, Staff Judge Advocate, and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney. He went on to found his own civil litigation firm on October 4, 1993, and was appointed Associate Justice of the Woonsocket, Rhode Island Municipal Court in 2003 and served in said capacity until 2009 when he and his family moved to Vermont.
In addition to his many interests, Attorney Pellizzari, is a registered critical care nurse licensed to practice in Rhode Island and Vermont. He serves part-time as a member of the North Country Hospital intensive care unit team in Newport, Vermont. He is a licensed pilot, member of the Executive Board of the Narragansett Council Boy Scouts of America, former member of the Board of Trustees of the Woonsocket Harris Public Library, and since moving to Vermont, has become an avid gardener, hiker, and skier. He is married to the former Lolita B. Victoria. Together, they have a son, Benjamin, who attends St. Paul's Catholic School in Barton, Vermont.
